SOFTWARE AND LOBBY
I have forgotten my password. How do I log in?
If you have forgotten your password open the BLUFFROOM.COM software and click on the "Forgotten Your Password" button. Enter your username and email (make sure it is the email that you have signed up with or is entered in your details in the cashier) and click the "reset password". You will then be emailed a new password.
How do I select a game?
Once you open the lobby, you will see the different game options arranged as tabs. You then need to select between "Poker tables", "Tournaments", "Casino" and "Play money". When you select the tab, browse the sub-tabs. If you want to play a ring game, for example, just go to "Poker tables", then select the game variant you prefer (e.g. Texas Hold’em, Omaha, etc.) and then choose the game type you prefer (for example No Limit, Limit or Pot Limit for Texas Hold’em, High Card Draw, Triple Draw or Badugi under "Draw & Other" and so on).
How do I set game filters?
Game filters help you navigate through the game selection that we offer. To activate them, simply click on the "Filter off" button above the games list in the lobby. The button will then have a green light displayed and will read "Filter on".
To turn the filters off, just click on the button again.
How do I open a selected table?
To open the table you wish to join, simply double-click on the table name.
How do I access a tournament?
In order to join a tournament, you need to select it in the lobby first. Then double-click on the tournament name to open the tournament lobby. Then simply click on the "Register" button in the lower right corner of the tourney lobby, confirm paying the buy-in and you will be seated at your table when the tournament begins.
I have tournament coupons. How can I check them?
To review your available tournament coupons, go to "Player Admin" and click on "Tournament Entry Coupons".
How do I add player notes?
If you click on another player a window where you can type notes will appear. Once you have added your notes make sure you click "save notes" then "close". Once you have added some notes when you move your mouse over that player the notes will appear as a tooltip. Players who have entered their details in the cashier will have their country also show up as a tooltip.
How do I add a friend?
To add a friend, go to the main lobby and click on the button that reads "Add" in the lower right corner. Then type the nickname of the person you want to add and click on "Add" once again.
Later on you can manage your friend list by clicking on "Edit Contacts".
How do I set up a private game?
To start a private game, you need to create a custom table. Such tables can be open to all players or they can be password protected so that only people invited by the table creator can play.
To create a Custom Table click on the Custom game tab and then click on create in the bottom left hand corner. A small window will open where you need to fill in the following details: name, stakes (from the drop-down menu), maximum number or players, password (if you set a password, you will need to tell the other players what it is, otherwise they won’t be able to join the game. Setting a password is not mandatory.). Then click on "OK" and your table will be created.
How do I resize a table?
To resize a table, place your mouse cursor on one of the window corners. The cursor will then look like a black two-side arrow, which you can drag to adjust the table size.
How do I customize the settings of my poker client?
To do so, click on the "Settings" button at the bottom of the main lobby. The settings window will open and you will be able to toggle the settings from the different tabs and check boxes.
How do I see my hand history?
To view your Hand History during a game click on the "history" button, located below the table. If you want to see your hand histories for all games, go to the "player admin" (through the Lobby or log into https://secure.bluffroom.com) and click on the "hand history" button, then choose a date and your hands from that day's play will be displayed
How do I change my nickname?
Due to company policy at this time, once an account is created it cannot be changed. Please contact support if you think you have a valid reason for changing nicknames.
Can I change my player icon?
Yes, you can. Just go to the Player Admin (click on the "Player Admin" option in the menu at the bottom of the main lobby) and go to "Change Player Icon" on the left. On that page you can either select a new icon from the ones available, or upload your own. If you decide to upload, make sure not to choose an icon that the other players may find offensive.
PLAYER ADMIN
What is Player Admin?
The Player Admin is your own page where you can change your preferences, view playing details, check account details and get help and information. You can get to the Player Admin through the lobby of the poker client or by logging into https://secure.bluffroom.com.
What can I do in the Player Admin?
In the Player Admin you can update your personal detail, check your bonuses, manage your tournament entry coupons, change your password, review your transaction history, etc. This is the place where you can also verify your email address and your account and contact our customer support.
GAMES
How long do I have for my turn?
Each player is given 15 seconds for their turn. If you don't make your time and the timer bar runs out you will be automatically folded and your status changed to "sitting out".
How do I re-buy?
If you want to get more money to a table without leaving you can click the "re-buy" button. This will allow you to re-buy any amount or up to the table limit. You will only be able to re-buy when you are folded, between hands or sitting out. You cannot re-buy during a hand that you are still playing in.
I was changed to "Sitting Out" but I didn't choose to. Why is that?
If your status has changed to "sitting out" and you did not choose to "sit out" you either did not make you turn in time or you were disconnected. If you don't make your turn in time you will be folded and sat out.
If you have been disconnected from the game you will be put "all in dp". This means that you will not bet anymore money or have anymore turns, but you will be eligible to win the pot up until the point when you disconnected. If you have not reconnected before the start of the next hand your status will then be changed to "sitting out".
Can I post blinds automatically?
All players must post small blinds and big blinds. If a player has "auto post" selected then their blinds will automatically be paid when it is their turn to post the blinds. If "auto post" is not selected then the player will have to click the "post sb" or "post bb" button every time it is their turn to post a blind. Selecting "auto post" also speeds up game play.
"Auto post" is turned off by default and can be turned on/off in the "options" panel.
Can I pre-select actions?
When it is not your turn you will be given the option of pre-selecting actions. If you pre-select an action, when it is your turn it will automatically do that action. The pre-select action box will appear above the hand description box and will only be visible when it is not your turn and will only show available actions.
Can I my view game stats and hand history?
Yes. If you click on "stats" panel you can see the number of hands you have been dealt, how many you have won and how long you have been playing. By clicking the "more" button you can see details on Action Stats, Fold Stats and Win Stats.
To view your Hand History during a game click on the "history" button, located below the table. If you want to see your hand histories for all games, go to the "player admin" and click on the "hand history" button, then choose a date and the hands from that day's games will be displayed.
BONUSES
What is a reload bonus?
A reload bonus is one that you receive with your deposit. To receive the bonus, you need to enter the bonus code in the specified field in the deposit window.
Can I check the status of my active bonuses?
Yes. To do so, go to "Player Admin" and click on "Bonuses".
I deposited for the welcome bonus but I only see the deposit amount in my balance. Where is my bonus?
Your bonus is active in your account but you need to release it first. The current welcome bonus (the one with bonus code BR100) is cleared at increments of $10. You need to earn 75 VIP Points to release $1 of the bonus. This means that as soon as you earn 750 VIP Points, $10 of the bonus will be added to your available balance. This will continue until you clear the entire bonus.
Will my welcome bonus expire if I make a withdrawal?
No. The BR100 bonus will remain active in your account.
VIP POINTS
What are VIP Points?
These are special reward points that you earn for you play. You can use the VIP Points to enter tournaments, purchase merchandise from the Rewards Store, etc.
How are VIP Points earned?
You get 10 VIP Points for every $1 you pay in rake or tournament fee.
Do I earn VIP Points when I play on the Play Money tables?
No. VIP Points are only earned on real money games.

What is the currency used on Bluff Room Poker?
Bluff Room Poker operates in US Dollars.
Are payments to and from Bluff Room Poker secure?
Absolutely. The Bluff Room website and the service support SSL Version 3 with 128 bit encryption. This means that payments to and from our site are as secure as any other financial transaction, offline or online.
How do I make a deposit?
In order to deposit funds to your poker account, go to the "Cashier" tab in the upper left corner of the main lobby. When the new page loads, go to the "Deposit" tab, select your preferred deposit option and click on the "Deposit" button next to it. After that, fill in the required details and confirm the transaction.
What deposit options can I use?
The deposit methods supported by Bluff Room Poker are Click2Pay, EcoCard, INSTADEBIT, Moneybookers, Visa Electron powered by Moneybookers, My Voucher, NETELLER and WebMoney.
Is there a minimum deposit requirement?
Yes. The minimum deposit amount depends on the payment method you choose. For some deposit options the minimum deposit amount is $10, for others - $20 or $25. You will see the minimum deposit amount displayed next to the particular deposit method.
I made a deposit with my credit card but it has not shown up in my account
In such situations, go to "Cashier" and then to "History". There you will be able to view your transaction history and any pending deposits. You may have been asked to complete a verification process or your deposit may have been denied. You can view these details there.
I tried to make a deposit but my account was put on hold. Why is that?
There are three possible reasons for this to occur:

You have added too many credit cards

The payment method you have added is shared by another player.

You have added a payment method on a shared computer.
In order to resolve the issue, simply contact our customer support and our associates will assist you further.
How do I make a withdrawal?
To cash out funds, please go to the "Cashier" tab in the upper left corner of the main lobby, then select the "Withdrawal" tab and select your preferred payment method.
Is there a requirement for the minimum amount I can withdraw?
Yes. This amount is different for the different withdrawal options. You will see the minimum withdrawal amounts displayed next to every payment option.
What withdrawal options are supported?
In order to cash out your funds, you may use Click2Pay, EcoCard, INSTADEBIT, Moneybookers, NETELLER or WebMoney.
How long will withdrawals take to process?
E-wallet withdrawals are generally processed within 48 hours and check withdrawals are processed on Monday and Thursday every week.
Why does Bluff Room ask me for verification documents?
To better protect players from online fraud and ensure that player details provided represent the cardholder, we require many of our players to complete a verification process. Bluff Room may also request a player at any time to complete a level of verification before a transaction can be processed. We count on your full co-operation in regards to these processes.
Do not forget that we carry out such verification processes to protect both ourselves and the interests of any credit card customer from fraud.
DISCONNECTION AND CANCELLATION
What happens if I am disconnected during a game?
If you are disconnected during a game, the software will try to connect you again and put you straight back into the game. If you have reconnected before your hand has timed out, then you can continue playing. More details can be found in our Disconnection Policy.
